Maquette head creation in Super Sculpy

Just a quick sketch of the model's face today.  I used an old color crayon, some colored pencil, charcoal dust, pastel and anything else from the bottom of my pencil box.

I enjoy watching speed art on U-tube.  Especially the ones from FZD School.  Here's a little experiment in making a simple one using Camtasia.

Just a quick study of the head this time. Getting the position of the near eye in a 3/4 view is always difficult.

Figure drawing sessions have started again with some new models.

 Doodling faces from people I see on PBSTV.  Seems the English use faces with more character in their programs.

So, here's Poe ... pestered by a raven he is questioning about his dead girlfriend.  I believe Poe chose the raven for this poem because they are said to travel between this world and the "spirit world."
